Russian-American Irina Solomona from Love is Blind season 4 posted an apology video last night, calling herself out on her actions throughout the show. In case you haven’t watched the latest Love is Blind season 4 yet (wyd?), then we’ll fill you in. So far 8 episodes have been released following the Seattle cast finding love sight unseen, in the pods.

[Spoilers] The current Love is Blind season 4 couples that have made it far, weeks away from the wedding of their dreams are: Zack, who used to be engaged to Irina, and Bliss, Chelsea and Kwame, Jackie and Marshall, Brett and Tiffany, and Micah and Paul.

While the contestants were dating in the pods, viewers watched scenes of ‘mean girl’ antics shown by Micah and Irina, especially toward Bliss and Amber. And then, once the two friends were proposed to, Irina (seeing Zack for the first time), was ~visibly~ uncomfortable. Many viewers believe that she treated the criminal lawyer badly, and he himself in episode 6 of Love is Blind season 4 told Bliss, “I was treated like sh*t”.

Fans were definitely not pleased with the two girls from Love is Blind season 4, especially Irina, as more of Micah’s true self is shown as she gets closer to Paul.

Now, Irina has issued an apology video addressing the backlash. Press play on the below to watch it:

Her caption reads “from my heart”, and in the video she says:

“I want to start off by saying sorry that this video is a little delayed, I really wanted to take some time to process and really get my thoughts together before I responded. The first thing I want to say is that I have privately apologised to the people that I have hurt and mistreated, and second of all, I wanted to say I’m so so sorry or the people that watched the show that felt frustrated, angry, and hurt by the way that I was mistreating people on the show. It was very immature and naive of me in a lot of those situations, and I just want to say that Zack, Bliss, Amber, Jackie, Micah: None of those people deserve to be treated the way I treated them. And I’m genuinely so so sorry.

Truly, I want to add value to people and I want to make people feel seen. Who I was on the show was the complete exact opposite of that person, and I feel like being on the show was like getting a mirror put in front of your face, in the sense of seeing yourself from a different perspective. And that opened up so much to me, and I’m still processing and going through everything that happened. I just want to say that I’m still journeying, all of us and everything that happened. Figuring out the person that I want to be and that I want to move forward to be, but I know that none of those things are okay.

And even Zack, he was so vulnerable to me and I so mistreated him and shut him out. And I hope that one day I get to share my experience and what was kind of going on with me emotionally during that experience. But until then, I just appreciate you for watching this and listening to this. And thank you.”
